WHAT IS EVAPORATIVE COOLING AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Evaporative cooling is the most economical and ecological solution to cool and renew the air. Using only water, very little electricity, and without the help of refrigerant gas, evaporative (or adiabatic) cooling can mitigate air temperatures between 5 ~ 10 ° C at a very low cost. The principle of operation is completely natural: the hot air passes through the honeycomb panels (PAD) that are constantly kept sprayed with water. Thanks to the natural effect of evaporation, air, by simple contact with water, loses much of its heat. Filtered and cooled in this way, there is continuous renewal and cooling of the air and therefore makes the environment more comfortable and healthier.

The air cools for two reasons:

• by contact with the cold surface of the evaporative panel

• by the transfer of the heat necessary to evaporate the water
